Canadian Retail Sales & MONEXgroup Smoothes Retailer’s Growth
Dec 02, 2014

MONEXgroup discusses in its article the latest economic activities in the Canadian marketplace and the growth rates for Canadian Retail Sales services; in correlation with the Gross Domestic Product and consumer’s confidence rates.

Canadian Retail sales in September 2014 has emerged into a fast growing economy with positive rates; feeding the Canadian marketplace with maturity in the year’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), consumer confidence and the stock market. Less astonishing but more surprisingly was the economists’ forecasts for the monthly performance this year that indicated sales rose for the first time in three consecutive months!

Leading figures were mostly generated by “big-ticket items such as cars, furniture and appliances” reported by The Globe and Mail in November, 2014. Actual retail sales for the month appreciated by 0.8% reaching $42.8 billion; reported by Statistics Canada in Ottawa.
